Ariadna Gómez-Kelly is a General Assistant at Locksmith Animation. An Irish/Spanish immigrant, she moved to London in 2020 and graduated from the BA in Film Practice at the University of the Arts London in 2024 specialising in writing and direction.

In her time at university, she co-founded her own production company, Hekate Tales, for which she wrote, directed and produced several short commercial and campaigns films for clients such as the NHS and the Southwark Council. Additionally, prior to starting at Locksmith, she freelanced as an Intimacy Coordinator, Costume Designer and Production Designer in live action filmmaking. Ariadna's experience in animation largely comes in in relation to her own indie animated project, a pilot titled 'New Earth' that she has been co-creating over the last number of years and now showruns and directs. This pilot is a 30 minute 2D hand drawn work and has been in production since late 2024. The project boasts a voluntary team of 150 as of writing this that, fueled by her passion for the craft and belief in the concept, she continues to run and maintain around her full time work. It was for her work on this project that she was named a Future 50 Founder and Freelancer of University of the Arts London.

In her spare time, being a fan at heart, she can be found doing all sorts of things of the nerdy variety. She cosplays, a hobby for which she has garnered a platform of over 150,000 online, LARPs, plays D&D; evidently ardent about any and all hobbies that embody different forms of storytelling as a medium.
