Conor Wilson
First Assistant Editor, Bad Fairies
Conor Wilson is the 1st Assistant Editor on Bad Fairies. He started working as a systems runner for the factual entertainment company Princess Productions. Conor knew he wanted to work in Editorial almost immediately, so he asked the Head of Post Production if there were any positions coming up, and luckily there was one available. Moving into Post Production running, Conor would stay late and learn how Avid worked from a technical perspective, after two and half years he was promoted to Edit Assistant.
Conor moved to KEO Films as an Edit Assistant, and quickly onto the Eden team as a Junior Editor. After that, Conor Freelanced for 3 years as a Junior Editor for lots of TV shows, including: The Island with Bear Grylls and Celebrity Hunted. During that time, he worked as a 2nd Assistant Editor on Sherlock Gnomes, where I fell in love with Animation as a story telling Medium. Conor came to Locksmith Animation as the 3rd Assistant Editor on Ron’s Gone Wrong and hasn’t looked back. He then worked as the 2nd Assistant Editor on That Christmas, which is Locksmith’s second feature.
In his spare time, Conor is a self-confessed, big nerd who plays D&D, Magic: The Gathering and all the video games. He loves writing and a good book to jump into with his Book Club. If that isn’t enough, he is also Assistant Offensive Co-Ordinator for the Hertfordshire Cheetahs who play American Football at the highest level in the UK.
