Megan Nicole Dong is a director, author, Executive Producer and creator of the animated musical series Centaurworld at Netflix. Her book, Sharky Malarkey: A Sketchshark Collection was published by Andrews McMeel Publishing in September 2018. A Southern California native, Megan grew up loving sharks, marine biology, musical theater, and doodling in class. She has worked at Dreamworks, Nickelodeon, and Titmouse Inc on titles such as How to Train Your Dragon 2, Pinky Malinky, Metalocalypse, and Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie. In 2017, she was named one of Variety Magazine’s 10 Animators to Watch. She subsequently went to Netflix Animation to produce her own original series which debuted in 2021.
