Peter describes himself as essentially a destitute man’s Richard Curtis.

He writes broad, often gently soppy romantic comedy for the BBC, ITV and Sky. His TV series Married Single Other owes an awful lot to Four Weddings, his long running series of plays on BBC Radio 4 are mostly none too subtle re-workings of Notting Hill, his Sky Short Deep & Crisp & Even is essentially a thinly disguised, truncated About Time and his West End Stage debut Hello/Goodbye smells strongly of Love Actually.

He is currently co-writing That Christmas with, um,... the actual Richard Curtis. A restraining order seems imminent.
