Writer, Bad Fairies
Zoë is a writer on Bad Fairies. As well as working at Locksmith, she recently wrote three episodes of Badjelly, starring Miriam Margolyes and Rhys Darby, and is currently developing How To Be A Sensei, a Japanese-English comedy drama with Nippon TV.
Since 2019 Zoë has been a regular writer on Have I Got News For You, and is a prolific entertainment writer with credits on everything from 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown to Hypothetical, The Now Show and The News Quiz. She is also a recipient of the prestigious David Nobbs Memorial Comedy Writing Award.
In 2022, she co-wrote and produced the Channel 4 Comedy Blap Late Night Forever! ("bold and ambitious... imagine a chat show directed by David Lynch" ★★★★ - Chortle). In the same year, Zoë also won a British Podcast Award for SeanceCast, a comedy-horror sketch show written entirely by women and non-binary writers, which she co-created with Charlie Dinkin.
Zoë started her entertainment career as a runner on The One Show, where she was once made to appear on live TV as part of a gang of ten Dot Cottons. She still doesn’t know why.
